84: What Is The Most Common Niche as a VA?

I always say, if you have a laptop you can most likely become a Virtual Assistant.

But once you declare you are a VA, you have to pick a specialty, which is where a lot of Free Mamas struggle.

On this week’s episode of Free Mama Radio, I am breaking down the different niches you can have as a VA, the most popular ones right now, and the importance of having a specialty.

Tune in to the whole episode because I reveal how you can start making up to 10x what you’re currently charging by finding and utilizing your niche!

In Today’s Episode We Discuss:

  • Lauren shares an embarassing story
  • Going over the most commin niches in the virtual assistant industry
  • Announcement for Black Friday Sale!

It can be a bit overwhelming, trying to find your own niche, but it is incredibly important that you do.

Finding your niche and becoming an expert at it is what will make you well-known, and indispensable in your field!

In order to find your niche, you need to decide what bucket you’ll be in as a Virtual Assistant. I have broken it down to 7 different types: Administrative, Design, Social Media Management, Tech, Writing, Marketing, and Organization/Systems.

Within these fields is where you will be able to find your specialty.

A niche isn’t just “copywriting” it’s “writing email sequences for ActiveCampaign” it’s not just “Management” it’s “project manager specializing in Asana”. These are just examples, but you get the point.

Here’s a hint, just because it’s popular, like how Virtual Event Planning may be a popular niche right now, does not mean it’s for you. If you enjoy something, you are more likely to be good at it. Leverage what comes naturally to you.

There are opportunities in all of these buckets! You just have to choose what’s right for YOU!

And if you are struggling with finding your niche, The Free Mama has teamed up with 6 amazing experts for the Riches in the Niches Workshop Series! This workshop series is designed to help you find your specialty and have you put in the work so you are prepared to start charging up to 10X what you are currently charging! And until November 29, it’s 50% off with code SAVE50WORKSHOP.
